FROM SERVING CUSTOMERS TO SERVING COMMUNITIES

While I love nature deeply, my greater concern is for the people around me. We're deeply connected to each other and the natural world, yet we’ve grown apart.

A recent walk through a Maine wetland reminded me of that bond. I saw not just one tree, but many growing together. This is an act called inosculation and it’s one way the forest heals itself. That’s what Conservation means to me: healing through connection.

I’m committed to building a career in Conservation Communications to help make that happen.

WHO I AM

A career quiz once told me I am Careworker. It explains, “You put your skills to use keeping our communities and our relationships with each other healthy. You have a deep love and respect for all people and you believe that healing our relationships to our bodies, our minds, and to each other is the most critical part of solving the crisis we face.”

WHAT I DO

I measure my success by the relationships I’ve built and nurtured. With over two decades in Marketing and years of dedicated volunteering, I’ve consistently delivered results. My track record features record-breaking client retention, recognition for my commitment to various causes, and even the honor of being in my intern’s wedding.

WHERE I DO IT

The land I stand on is unceded and I acknowledge the Indigenous people who have stewarded it for generations and continue to do is.
